Every
child starts school with different degree of social and emotional development.
These abilities require be practiced to learnt. Parents can help children to
learn them. Give your child opportunities to practice them at home to start to
build up the positive traits of character.
Confidence:
Children must like themselves and understand they can succeed. Confident kids
are more ready to take new assignments—and attempt again in the event that they
don't succeed the first run through.
Empathy:
Learn children to be interested in others people feeling and understand how
others feel.
Independence:
Children have to know figure out how to get things done by themselves.
Motivation:
Children have to have willingness to learn.
Persistence:
Kids have to finish all things they start till the end. Parents have to learn
children how to start and finish work they do.
Cooperation:
Learn children to be cooperative in order to coexist with others and figure out
how to share and take turns.
Curiosity:
Children are normally very curious about everything around them. Parents task
is to remain this child’s curiosity as longer as possible so to get out of
learning process.
Self-control:
Teach your child that there are good ways and bad ones to show anger. Show
children how to express anger in acceptable manner. Parents task is to show
that biting and hitting are not proper way to show anger.
In
order to teach your child all these thing psychologists have developed some
exercises and activities to help parents in this not easy work.
